Established in 2016, TRL9 Limited has been developed out of the wide-ranging experience and specialist expertise of our team alongside the strategic partners we work with.
The company is a privately owned business, based in North Shields, Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. We are dedicated to the research, development and commercialization of technology associated with surface engineering, advanced coatings, and specialist materials.
Our founder and CEO: Dr Bryan Allcock
Our TRL9 Limited founder Dr Bryan Allcock is an experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with a demonstrable history of working in the coating and surface engineering sectors.
His accreditations and experience include:
- First Degree in Applied Chemistry
- PhD in Corrosion Engineering from Cranfield University
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
